What is the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi, and what comes with it?

The Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi is identified in one seller listing as the Venum Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi – Contender 2.0 Venum Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi – Sports Exchange. That name identifies the adult product in that listing; it doesn’t settle every detail of what arrives in every version.

The Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi should not be confused with the kids’ listing, which says a free white belt is included with the kids’ gi venum.com. By contrast, the supplied Amazon product description says the belt is not included Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi. Those statements refer to different listings, so don’t assume that a belt comes with the adult purchase.

Before ordering the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi, check the exact listing and its included-items description. The available information doesn’t establish that every seller’s package matches the kids’ offer, or that the adult version includes a belt. The product name is clear; the bundle details need to be checked against the listing you intend to buy.

What sizes and colors are available, and how should you choose a size?

The Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi is listed in adult sizes from A0 to A4, and one seller listing also shows half sizes A1.5 and A2.5 Contender 2.0 (Long-Term Use) — Meta Mat… Venum Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi – Sports Exchange. The sources don’t provide a sizing chart or body measurements here, so those size labels alone can’t confirm which size will fit you.

Adult color choices vary between the two lists: one review names white, blue, navy, grey, and black Contender 2.0 (Long-Term Use) — Meta Mat…, while another listing names Black, Grey, Royal Blue, Navy, and Lavender Grey Venum Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi – Sports Exchange. Treat these as options reported by separate sources, not a single guaranteed inventory list.

The reviewer advises sizing up if you’re between sizes, saying the gi can fit slightly slim after washing Contender 2.0 (Long-Term Use) — Meta Mat…. That’s reviewer advice, not a fit test conducted for this review. Kids’ sizes are separate: the white and black kids’ listings show C00, C0, C1, C2, and C3 venum.com venum.com. The Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi adult size labels shouldn’t be confused with those children’s sizes.

What materials, weave, weight, and construction does the gi have?

The supplied product description says the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi has a 350 GSM jacket, rounded reinforced slots, and an EVA foam soft collar Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi. It lists the pants as 230 GSM, 100% cotton, with reinforced stitching inside the leg and around the ankle circumference Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi. These are listing specifications, not measurements independently verified for this review.

The Amazon listing describes the gi as 100% cotton and imported Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi. Other sources don’t present the jacket weight consistently: one review lists a 380 GSM single-weave pearl-cotton jacket and 8 oz cotton ripstop pants Contender 2.0 (Long-Term Use) — Meta Mat…, while another passage describes a version with a 350 GSM pearl-weave jacket and 230 GSM cotton trousers Contender 2.0 (Long-Term Use) — Meta Mat….

That discrepancy matters if fabric weight is central to your choice. The Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi has specific construction claims in the supplied listing, but the conflicting jacket figures mean you shouldn’t treat one weight as independently confirmed across versions. The sources also use different weave and pants descriptions, so check the exact product listing rather than blending them into one specification.

How much does the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi cost, and where is it available?

A current adult price for the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi isn’t established by the available sources. An older review describes the adult gi as a mid-tier option listed around $85 and frequently discounted Contender 2.0 (Long-Term Use) — Meta Mat…. That is a historical reference, not a confirmed price today.

A separate Sports Exchange listing shows both a regular price and sale price of $99.99 Venum Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi – Sports Exchange, but the same listing marks the product sold out Venum Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi – Sports Exchange. It gives a price point, not evidence that the item can currently be purchased there. The available sources also don’t establish current stock or a current Amazon price.

Keep children’s pricing separate from adult pricing: Venum lists the white kids’ gi at $69.99 venum.com and the black kids’ gi at $69.99 venum.com. Those figures are for the kids’ product, not a substitute for an adult price. For the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi adult version, the current price and availability remain unknown from the supplied evidence.

Is the Contender 2.0 approved for IBJJF competition?

The available review says the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi is IBJJF approved for competition Contender 2.0 (Long-Term Use) — Meta Mat…. That is a claim made by the reviewer, not an approval independently confirmed here.

The supplied evidence doesn’t include an official rules check or approval documentation. That leaves a gap between a review’s assurance and a verified competition decision. If competition eligibility is important to you, don’t treat the cited review alone as proof that the specific gi you’re buying meets current uniform requirements.

The Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi is therefore described as approved by one source, but the evidence available for this review can’t establish that status independently. Check the applicable rules and the exact gi details before relying on the claim for competition. No official document or independent check was supplied to resolve it.

How much can the gi shrink, and how should you care for it?

No supplied source gives a measured shrinkage percentage or amount for the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi. A review describes the gi as pre-shrunk and says significant shrinkage is unusual when it’s washed cold and hang dried Contender 2.0 (Long-Term Use) — Meta Mat…. That’s the reviewer’s account, not a shrinkage test conducted for this review.

The kids’ gi is described as pre-narrowed venum.com. The supplied care instructions say to wash the gi cool, never hot, and hang it to dry rather than tumble drying Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi. Those are the stated care directions; the evidence doesn’t quantify the effect of following them.

The reviewer also reports a routine of washing in cold water and hanging the gi indoors, without tumble drying Contender 2.0 (Long-Term Use) — Meta Mat…. That’s advice attributed to the reviewer, not first-hand testing by this article’s author. For the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi, follow the supplied care instructions, but don’t expect a precise shrinkage prediction from the available sources.

How does the Contender 2.0 compare with other Venum gi options?

The available evidence doesn’t support a full model-by-model comparison of Venum gis: it provides no specifications or prices for other named Venum gi models. For the adult Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi, an older review describes a mid-tier position, a listing around $85, and frequent discounts Contender 2.0 (Long-Term Use) — Meta Mat…. That price is historical, not a confirmed current offer.

The Venum kids’ Contender is listed separately at $69.99 in white and $69.99 in black venum.com venum.com. It’s a children’s product, so it isn’t a like-for-like adult alternative. A Sports Exchange listing gives the Contender 2.0 a regular and sale price of $99.99 Venum Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi – Sports Exchange, but marks it sold out Venum Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi – Sports Exchange. That’s another listing point, not confirmation of a current price.

So the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi can be placed beside those reported price references, but not ranked against other adult models on features. The evidence doesn’t supply the comparable model details needed for that.

What are the seller’s shipping, return, and exchange policies?

The supplied sources contain no shipping, return, or exchange terms for the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi. That means those policies can’t be assessed from the evidence available here; there’s no basis to describe delivery timing, return eligibility, or exchange conditions.

The Sports Exchange listing is marked sold out Venum Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi – Sports Exchange, but that status does not establish any seller policy. It says nothing about shipping, returns, or exchanges, and it shouldn’t be used to infer what another seller would offer.

Before purchasing the Venum Contender 2.0 BJJ Gi, read the terms on the specific seller listing you’re considering. The available evidence doesn’t establish whether shipping is offered, how returns are handled, or whether exchanges are allowed. Those details remain unknown rather than negative: no policy was supplied for review.
