Multi-band GNSS is cited as a navigation feature, but that claim doesn’t establish a particular level of accuracy in every setting Garmin Edge Bike Computer Comparison: Which One…. How much does the Garmin Edge 1040 cost, and what comes in this bundle?

The price of this Garmin Edge 1040 Solar bundle is unavailable in the supplied product data and claim ledger. That means you can’t use these materials to judge whether the bundle costs more than the device alone or whether its accessories represent savings.

The listing says the bundle contains the Garmin Edge 1040 Solar computer, a black silicone case, MTB, standard and out-front mounts, a USB-C cable, a tether, PlayBetter tempered-glass screen protectors and a charging cable Garmin Edge 1040 (Solar) GPS Bike Computer…. The included-components field gives a shorter list—cable, case, mount, screen protector and tether—so it doesn’t name every mount type separately Garmin Edge 1040 (Solar) GPS Bike Computer….

The Garmin Edge 1040’s stated package contents are the clearest guide available, though the listing does not provide a price.

How long does the Edge 1040 battery last, and what does Solar change?

The standard Garmin Edge 1040 is listed for up to 35 hours in GPS mode and up to 70 hours in battery saver mode; the Solar model is listed for up to 45 and 100 hours, respectively Garmin Edge 1050 vs 1040 – What’s the…. There’s a discrepancy in the listing: its battery specification says 35 hours, while its Solar description claims up to 45 hours in demanding conditions Garmin Edge 1040 (Solar) GPS Bike Computer…. That conflict matters because this bundle is identified as the Solar model; the 35-hour figure shouldn’t be presented as a verified Solar-model test. The Garmin Edge 1040 figures elsewhere distinguish the standard and Solar versions, but don’t resolve the listing inconsistency Garmin Edge 1050 vs 1040 – What’s the….

One Garmin forum user reported that setting screen brightness to Auto made a significant difference to battery drain. That’s an individual report, not a general test result. Actual battery life for this bundle isn’t established by the supplied evidence.

How do you create a route and send it to the Edge 1040?

The available sources don’t explain how to create a route and transfer it to the Garmin Edge 1040. They therefore don’t support a step-by-step workflow, or a claim about which app, cable or wireless method you must use.

The listing claims worldwide maps and multi-band GNSS Garmin Edge 1040 (Solar) GPS Bike Computer…. For the Garmin Edge 1040, the precise route-creation and transfer steps remain unknown here.

How does the Edge 1040 compare with the Edge 1030 Plus?

The Garmin Edge 1040 and Edge 1030 Plus are both listed with 3.5-inch transflective MIP displays Garmin Edge Bike Computer Comparison: Which One…. That shared description doesn’t establish that their screens look identical in use, and the supplied sources don’t offer a direct brightness comparison between these two models.

The Edge 1030 Plus lacks Garmin’s newer user interface, and its ClimbPro feature works only on pre-loaded routes EVERYTHING(-ish) you need to know – Sportive…. Those points make route use a relevant distinction in the available comparison, but the sources don’t provide a full feature-by-feature account of navigation on both devices.

The supplied sources don’t give the device’s size or weight, so you can’t assess its physical dimensions from this evidence. A screen measurement alone doesn’t fill that gap.

The bundle description says training insights use compatible sensors, but the supplied material doesn’t specify which sensors are compatible with the Garmin Edge 1040 Garmin Edge 1040 (Solar) GPS Bike Computer…. Nor does it provide a complete compatibility list. Treat that as unresolved before choosing sensors; the claim about compatibility in general isn’t enough to confirm a particular accessory will work.

The PlayBetter bundle names MTB, standard and out-front mounts, plus a case, tether, USB-C cable, screen protectors and charging cable Garmin Edge 1040 (Solar) GPS Bike Computer…. Its included-components field lists cable, case, mount, screen protector and tether without specifying all mount types Garmin Edge 1040 (Solar) GPS Bike Computer…. These are the accessories the listing identifies as included; the sources don’t establish compatibility for other Garmin mounts or accessories.

One source says Garmin bundles include additional sensors such as an HR monitor, cadence sensor and speed sensor Garmin Edge Bike Computer Comparison: Which One…. The listing’s included-components details don’t confirm that any of those sensors are included Garmin Edge 1040 (Solar) GPS Bike Computer…. Don’t confuse a general description of Garmin bundles with the contents of this particular package.

The Edge 1050 is described as supporting Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and ANT+ Garmin Edge 1050 vs 1040 – What’s the…. That connectivity claim concerns the 1050 and doesn’t prove sensor compatibility for the Garmin Edge 1040.
