What are the Planet Bike Blaze 45 and Superflash lights, and which is for the front or rear?

The Planet Bike Blaze 45 and Superflash are sold together as a front headlight and rear taillight set Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. The listing places the Blaze 45 at the front of the bicycle Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. The Superflash is identified as the taillight in the set description Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

There is a naming distinction worth keeping in view. A separate source describes a Planet Bike Blaze 2W as a front headlight, but that name differs from the listed Blaze 45 set. The two descriptions shouldn’t be treated as interchangeable specifications. If you’re comparing product pages, check that the listing names the Blaze 45 and Superflash set rather than assuming every Blaze reference describes this exact package Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

In short, the Planet Bike Blaze 45 is the front light in this listing, while the Superflash serves as the rear light Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. The product name itself identifies them as one set, not two unrelated entries Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

How bright is the Planet Bike Blaze 45, and what visibility range or modes does each light offer?

The Planet Bike Blaze 45 listing gives the headlight a maximum output of 45 lumens and two settings Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. The listed modes are steady and flashing, both at 45 lumens Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. The rear Superflash is listed at 7 lumens, with steady and Superflash modes Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

A separate source describes a different Blaze with two watts of LED power, 146 lumens, and high- and low-power beams. Those figures don’t match the listed Blaze 45 specification, so they shouldn’t be used to characterize this set. That source also reports a reviewer seeing signs reflect the strobing light two blocks away; it is an account about the other Blaze description, not a quantified visibility range for this set.

No measured or stated visibility distance for the Planet Bike Blaze 45 set appears in the available claims. The listing also claims 360-degree visibility when both lights are used together, but that remains a listing claim rather than a verified measurement Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

What batteries do the two lights use, and how long do they run in each mode?

The Planet Bike Blaze 45 headlight uses two AA batteries, while the Superflash taillight uses two AAA batteries; the listing says batteries are included Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. Its stated runtime is 20 hours in steady mode and up to 100 hours flashing for the headlight Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

For the rear light, the listing reports 60 hours in steady mode and up to 100 hours in Superflash mode Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. These are listing figures, not results from independent testing described in the supplied claims. The listing says each light can run up to 100 hours on a single battery set, but that maximum applies to the specified flashing modes, not every mode Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

A separate source says Planet Bike gives a Blaze runtime of 18 hours in flashing mode on two AA batteries. That figure belongs to a separate Blaze description; it differs from the headlight runtime figures listed for this set. For the Planet Bike Blaze 45, use the set listing’s mode-specific figures when comparing expected battery life, while recognizing that no independent runtime verification is supplied Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

How do the Blaze 45 and Superflash attach, and do the mounts fit different bar or seatpost sizes?

The Planet Bike Blaze 45 listing identifies a handlebar mount and says a bike light and mount are included Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. The set description also says the rear light includes bike mounts and a clip mount Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. That gives you a broad picture of the included attachment options, but not a complete fitting guide.

A separate source describes QuickCam bracket mounts for a Blaze that adjust or can be removed quickly without tools. The supplied claims don’t establish that those mounts belong to this exact set, nor do they give handlebar or seatpost diameter ranges. They also don’t confirm compatibility across different bar or seatpost sizes.

So the Planet Bike Blaze 45 set has listed mounting hardware, but fit cannot be confirmed from the available information. If you need a particular clamp range or a specific seatpost fit, the listing does not answer that question. Don’t assume the separate QuickCam description proves fit for this model or your bicycle Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

What do the Planet Bike Blaze 45 and Superflash cost, and are they sold individually or as a set?

The Planet Bike Blaze 45 and Superflash are identified in the product name and listing description as a set Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. The supplied product data does not include a price, so the current cost is unavailable here.

The listing records one pack and one item Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. Those package counts don’t establish whether the headlight or taillight is also sold individually. Nor do they tell you whether another listing or seller offers a separate light. The evidence supports calling this item a combo set, not claiming that individual versions are or aren’t available.

If you’re budgeting, check the price shown on the product page at the time you shop; no figure is supplied in the claims for this review. And if you want only one light, the available information doesn’t confirm that either component can be bought separately. The Planet Bike Blaze 45 listing is clear about the set identity, but silent on individual availability and price Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

How weather-resistant are the lights, and what should riders know about rain or darkness?

The Planet Bike Blaze 45 and Superflash listing gives the lights an IPX6 rating and describes them as water resistant Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. The supplied claims don’t spell out limits for particular rain conditions, so they don’t establish how the set will perform in any specific downpour.

The set description says the lights provide 360-degree visibility when used together Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. That is a listing claim, not an independently verified measurement. The claims also don’t establish how well the headlight illuminates a dark route, and they provide no quantified visibility distance for this set.

A separate reviewer says a Blaze hood keeps light from shining in the rider’s eyes, but the available claim doesn’t confirm that this feature applies to the listed Planet Bike Blaze 45. Treat that account as specific to the separate Blaze description. For rain performance and nighttime illumination, the available listing details leave practical limits unanswered; no field test or first-hand assessment is supplied here.

How do you install, operate, and replace the batteries in the Blaze 45 and Superflash?

The Planet Bike Blaze 45 listing identifies a handlebar mount and says a light and mount are included Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. A separate source says a Blaze clicks on and off its handlebar mount and can be carried in a pocket when the bicycle is locked up. That account concerns a separate Blaze description; the supplied claims don’t confirm the same attachment operation for this set.

The listed power arrangement is two AA batteries for the headlight and two AAA batteries for the taillight, with batteries included Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set. But detailed installation steps, button or control instructions, and battery replacement directions aren’t available in the supplied claims.

That leaves the basic component and battery types clear, but not the full setup procedure. Before relying on a particular removal method or assuming how to open either housing, consult the instructions that come with the set. The Planet Bike Blaze 45 listing doesn’t provide enough detail here to describe a verified sequence for mounting, switching modes, or changing batteries Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

Are the Blaze 45 and Superflash compatible with other Planet Bike mounts or replacement parts?

The available claims don’t confirm whether the Planet Bike Blaze 45 and Superflash work with other Planet Bike mounts or replacement parts. The listing identifies a handlebar mount and says a bike light and mount are included, but it doesn’t name compatible accessories Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.

A separate source describes QuickCam bracket mounts for a Blaze that adjust or can be removed quickly without tools. It doesn’t establish that the QuickCam mounts fit this listed set, or that they are compatible with other Planet Bike parts. The different descriptions should not be treated as proof of interchangeable hardware.

If you need a replacement bracket or part, compatibility remains unknown in the supplied product information. Don’t substitute a mount based only on the shared Blaze name. The listing establishes that a mount is included, but it does not provide a parts list, fit range, or confirmed compatibility details for the Planet Bike Blaze 45 set Planet Bike Blaze 45 & Superflash bike light set.
